He has more than 15 years of management consulting experience, with over 10 years of experience with Bain. He focuses primarily in the automotive, retail and consumer goods spaces.
Gianluca has helped to deepen Bain’s core automotive competences, having worked for many premium and volume players. His key areas of expertise include retail network planning, multi-brand network full potential, short- and long-term rental industry strategy, dealers’ rollout training programs and smart and urban mobility trends. Other core capabilities include business plans, organizational reshaping and right-sizing, performance improvement, customer analysis and segmentation, NPS, commercial due diligence and strategic assessments.
He is also active in the consumer products industry, working on organizational plans, corporate spin-offs, performance improvement programs and retail plans for both large and small players. He has additional experience in the private equity sector, performing due diligence across a variety of sectors with a focus in the automotive components industry.
As a certified Agile Scrum Master and Product Owner, Gianluca has worked on a wide array of Agile projects both in Italy and abroad, supporting innovation initiatives for key automotive and retail players.
In recent years, Gianluca has developed several studies for Italy in cooperation with Bain’s global Automotive practice, covering smart mobility and car sharing. He has written insights for publications such as IlSole24Ore, La Stampa, Affari & Finanza, Panorama, Corriere della Sera, Parts Officina and Car Carrozzeria and been featured as a speaker at Smart Mobility World and Milan Disruptive Week.
He holds a degree in economics from LUISS Guido Carli.
