Gustavo Camargo is a partner at Bain & Company in the São Paulo office. He joined Bain in 2005 is the leader of the Private Equity practice in South America.
Gustavo has worked with the top management of many large national and multinational groups across many industries, including private equity, growth investment, venture capital, infrastructure, technology, telecommunications, financial services, retail, and consumer goods.
He is one of those responsible for working with financial investors in South America and has deep experience in leading sector overviews, target screenings and commercial due diligences in several industries, including technology, telecommunications, financial services, retail, consumer goods etc. Gustavo has also worked in Bain's Boston private equity group.
He has also participated in engagements addressing corporate and business unit strategy, commercial strategy, M&A, performance improvement, organizational restructuring, business process redesign and cost management.
He graduated with a degree in administration from the Fundação Getulio Vargas (Brazil).
