Rakesh Mehrotra

Rakesh Mehrotra is a member of our Technology practice. He specializes in serving product, technology and engineering organizations on product strategy and business and operating model transformations. He is also one of our top experts on Software and Cloud Technologies.

During his tenure as a consultant, Rakesh has developed the growth and turnaround strategy for various high-tech companies. He has also worked with technology companies and private equity firms on multiple topics, including M&A, business model transformation, cost takeout, and engineering productivity.

In addition to his client engagements, he is deeply involved in our local Asians at Bain affinity group.

Prior to joining us, he was a partner in another top consulting firm’s technology practice.

He holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Southern California. Rakesh is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
