Tom Springer is a leader in the development of Bain’s Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) capability, which ensures the safety and security of third parties working with Bain clients and teams.

During Tom’s 20+ year career at Bain, he has led several important growth initiatives, including creation of Bain’s alliance program (the Bain Alliance Ecosystem), founding of Bain’s Advanced Analytics practice, and development of Bain’s customer experience transformation capability.

Tom’s focus with clients has been on advanced analytics use case and capability development, customer experience transformation, and growth strategy. He has worked primarily in consumer telecommunications and retail financial services sectors.

While away from Bain from 1999 to 2004, Tom was a senior executive at Verbind, a start-up advanced analytics software company, and at Digitas, a digital marketing agency.

Before joining Bain in 1995, Tom was an associate consultant with a global management consulting firm and a Captain in the US Army, serving in Southwest Asia during the Persian Gulf War.

Tom earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in history from Princeton University.
