Silvio Marote is a partner based in Bain & Company's São Paulo office. He is an expert in the firm's Financial Services practice.
Since joining Bain in 2006, Silvio has worked with the top management of many large national and multinational groups across numerous industries, including financial services, private equity, energy, petrochemicals, textiles, agribusiness, textiles and consumer goods.
Silvio has led engagements addressing corporate and business unit strategy, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, performance improvement programs, organizational restructuring, cost reduction and shared services.
Prior to joining Bain, he worked for IF Consulting, Dell and Banco Santander in both the United States and in Brazil.
Silvio holds an MBA from the Wharton School and an MA in international relationships from the Lauder Institute, both at the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a degree in metallurgical engineering from the Universidade de São Paulo and in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas.
He is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish and proficient in French.
