How to apply for this program
This program is only for London Business School students of Black Heritage who have accepted an offer to start business school in the autumn of 2024.

What to expect from the application process

At Bain, we enjoy working with teams, together with our clients, to tackle their most challenging problems. As part of this application process, we want you to tell us:
- A favourite example of a team you've worked in to solve a problem (250 words max)
- How the Belong@Bain program can help you succeed in your MBA and future career (250 words max)

Who is eligible to apply for Belong@Bain?
Applications for Belong@Bain are open to London Business School (LBS) Class of 2026 MBA candidates who identify as Black Heritage.
If you do not identify as Black Heritage or are not part of LBS Class of 2026, we recommend you check out our ExperienceBain fellowship programme.

Can students from any business school apply?
At present, this program is only for students at London Business School. In the future, we may open this up to more business schools. If you have any questions, email London Business School team.

How should I answer the applications questions?
As truthfully as you can. These are a chance for us to find out more about you and there are no right or wrong answers.

Do I need to submit a cover letter?
No, not for this programme.

When will I hear back?
We review all applications after the application deadline on 1st July 2024 at 11.59pm. If you are invited to attend the Belong@Bain camp, you will hear from us by the 5th July. Applications will not be considered on a rolling basis

What is the time commitment to participate in Belong@Bain?
Events for Belong@Bain will take place throughout the Autumn term. Further details to follow shortly.

Can I apply to both ExperienceBain and Belong@Bain? How are they different?
Yes, we encourage you to apply for Belong@Bain and ExperienceBain if you are eligible and interested. They are similar in that both programs introduce you to consulting and Bain before starting business school. But here’s how they differ:
Belong@Bain is a program open to MBA LBS students only who identify as Black Heritage and graduate in 2026. Events for Belong@Bain take place throughout the Autumn Term.
ExperienceBain is a larger program open to all incoming MBA students heading to eligible schools. It features periodic programming throughout the year.
If you are selected for Belong@Bain, we’ll help you navigate any overlaps with ExperienceBain.
