Heinz Klein is a member of our Advanced Manufacturing & Services practice.
An experienced consultant and entrepreneur, Heinz focuses on strategy, supply chain, industrial IoT, and digitization projects in the advanced machinery, automotive, electronics, and semiconductor industries. He advises technology companies on business models, product and go-to-market strategies, and strategic performance. In this area, he's led global technology transactions, as well as post-merger integration and value-creation projects.
Before joining Bain, Heinz spent 5 years as Chief Commercial Officer of a German/US log-tech company, bringing unprecedented real-time visibility to the world of supply chain management. Prior to this, he spent 8 years at another top consulting firm. Additionally, Heinz was active in the social entrepreneurship scene, helping to start and grow IMPACT HUB Zurich and co-founding a non-profit in Munich.
He earned a master's in corporate finance at the University of St. Gallen and a bachelor's in business administration and management at European Business School and the University of Melbourne.
Heinz is married, has two kids, and lives in Munich, where he enjoys the proximity to the mountains and nature.
