Luiza Mattos is a partner with Bain & Company in the São Paulo office. She is an active member of Bain's Healthcare, Financial Services and Results Delivery practices.

She joined Bain in 2007 and previously worked in the Rio de Janeiro Office.

Luiza works with top management of large national and multinational groups, as well as public sector and non-profit companies across industries such as healthcare, insurance, financial services, agriculture, bioenergy, media, apparel retailers and tour operators in Brazil and in Africa.

Luiza leads engagements addressing corporate and business unit strategy as well as customer, product, customer and channel strategy. She holds additional expertise in performance improvement, service operations optimization, real estate planning and sector development.

Prior to joining Bain, she worked for three months at NBC Universal in the US as Digital Entertainment Strategy Summer Associate, and for two years in IT consulting for the telecommunications industry.

Luiza graduated in Electronic & Computer Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and has a Master in Management from Instituto Coppead de Administração (Brazil) with an extension at WHU (Germany). She holds an MBA with major in Finance, Operations and Marketing from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (USA).

She is fluent in Portuguese, English and  Spanish and has knowledge of German and French.
