Stephan Erni is a member of our Banking practice.
He holds deep expertise across the banking sector, spanning full potential/value creation strategies on group and segment levels as well as the setup and development of new business and operating models.
Stephan is a core team member of Bain’s global web3/digital assets team, driving the web3/digital assets activities for Financial Services in EMEA. He advises his international clients on their full potential web3/ digital assets strategies.
In addition, Stephan leads complex M&A transactions and merger integration, carve-outs and transformations.
His client portfolio centers primarily upon global financial institutions, including Universal Banks, Wealth & Asset Managers, and Financial Market Infrastructure clients.
Prior to joining us in 2016, Stephan worked as an Executive Director in Group Structure Alternatives at UBS. He also served within the financial services strategy advisory of another top consulting firm.
He holds a master’s degree in Banking & Finance from the University of St. Gallen and is a CFA® charterholder.
