Niclas Næstoft Jakobsen is a member of our Private Equity practice. He previously served as a senior partner at Qvartz prior to the firm’s integration with us, which collectively formed our Nordics practice, in early 2020.
During his tenure at Qvartz, Niclas led the firm's Copenhagen office and established its New York office.
Since 2004, Niclas has worked extensively with private equity portfolio firm value creation programs both in the Nordics and globally. His industrial experience covers infrastructure, technology and asset-light B2B companies.
Niclas’s recent project leadership has included:
- Long-term strategy execution support programs within consumer electronics and technology;
- New strategy and operating model development for a verticalized SaaS company; and
- Ownership of diligence and pre-takeover planning efforts connected to the delisting and separation of a European telco.
Prior to joining Qvartz, Niclas worked for a small Danish mergers & acquisitions (M&A) group, where he specialized in middle-market transactions.
He holds an M. Sc. in Business Administration and Economics from Copenhagen Business School, where he also completed an exchange program at the University of Texas at Austin.
