Thomas Luedi is a senior partner and the leader of our Asia-Pacific Energy & Natural Resources practice.
With more than 25 years of experience in Asia, he advises leaders across oil & gas (including refining), power generation, and chemicals on industry restructuring, growth strategy, portfolio transformation, M&A, B2B commercial excellence, and large-scale transformations.
Thomas has deep expertise in petrochemicals, plastics circularity and decarbonization. He regularly works with boards and executive teams on capital investments, portfolio restructuring, joint ventures and performance improvement. He has helped leading Asian companies globalize their businesses and supported multinational corporations in expanding and optimizing their footprints across Asia. His work spans state-owned enterprises, private companies, multinationals and private equity investors across energy, utilities, chemicals, and agriculture industries.
Thomas previously led Bain’s Chemicals sector and Commercial Excellence solution in the region. He has distinctive expertise in B2B commercial excellence, including pricing, go-to-market strategy and commercial model transformation and publishes on chemicals, energy and B2B commercial excellence. He has also lectured at Tsinghua University.
He is fluent in English, German, French and Mandarin Chinese and conversational in Thai.
