Share your journey to Bain.
After graduating from Emory University with a degree in marketing and data analytics, I joined Bain as part of the AC recruiting team. I knew I wanted to build a career focused on the people side of business, and recruiting turned out to be a great fit for my interests and goals!
How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?
I knew Bain was the right place for me because of the incredible people I work with at the Atlanta office. Since day one, I’ve received tremendous support from team members, consultants, and leadership — all of whom genuinely invest in both my personal and professional growth.
What advice would you give a candidate who is interested in recruiting for consulting?
Start practicing case interviews as early as possible! I always advise candidates that it’s never too soon to begin, as most consulting firms use a standard case interview format in some form. Practicing with a friend — taking turns as both the interviewer and interviewee — is also a great way to build confidence and improve interview readiness.
What should candidates know?
Be confident and try to enjoy the case interview process! We’re genuinely rooting for your success and use the interview as a way to get to know you, your potential, and how you might fit as a future colleague. While interviewing can naturally feel nerve-wracking, showing up with confidence and being yourself can make a big difference.
