Diego has worked with top management of many large national and multinational groups across numerous industries and regions, including Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Peru. His core areas of expertise include oil & gas, mining & metals, steel, paper & forestry, power & gas, banking, payments, insurance, healthcare and telecommunications.
He has participated in engagements addressing business unit strategy, customer strategy & marketing, adjacency growth strategy, performance improvement, organization, strategic sourcing and procurement, ownership structure, corporate M&A and merger integration.
Prior to joining Bain in 2007, he worked as a project engineer for Techint Engineering & Construction Co. in Argentina. He also worked as an engineer in the CAPEX project execution department of ExxonMobil Argentina, as well as the quality department of Dana Argentina.
Diego graduated with honors in mechanical engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires in Argentina.
He is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, English and Slovenian.
