Michael's primary focus is in healthcare, where he focuses on provider strategy, operations, customer experience and M&A and serves a range of clients across the healthcare value chain. He has also worked extensively in the retail and restaurant sectors, particularly in operations and customer experience.
Michael is a leading expert in Service Design & Operations and has broad operational experience across transformations, salesforce improvements, customer experience delivery, staffing and labor optimization, and direct and indirect procurement. His strategy work covers corporate and business unit strategy, adjacency growth, new business development, merger integrations and divestitures.
In addition to his client responsibilities, Michael leads human resources for Bain Texas, where he is responsible for developing human capital strategies to meet Bain's business objectives and for developing and retaining talent in the region.
Outside of Bain, Michael serves on the Board of the North Texas Food Bank, where he chairs the Governance Committee and serves on both the Planning Committee and Executive Committee.
Michael earned an MBA with high distinction from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. He also graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a degree in mechanical engineering.
