Syed Ali is an expert vice president in Bain's Houston office and is a leader in the firm's Information Technology practice. Syed has nearly 20 years of experience in management and technology consulting.
Syed has deep expertise in IT strategy, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, application development and portfolio management, data centers and infrastructure, cloud migration, organization and sourcing, and operational processes.
Over the course of his career, Syed has advised senior business and IT leaders at Fortune 100 and 500 companies in the technology, telecommunications, insurance, healthcare, retail and banking industries. Syed has an MS in information technology from Northwestern University and a BSE in biomedical engineering from Tulane University. Prior to joining Bain, Syed was a principal at Booz & Company.
