Thomas Huber is a partner in Bain & Company's Mexico City office. He leads Bain's Industrial Goods & Services and Performance Improvement practices in Mexico and Northern Latin America, with a focus in Supply Chain Management, Operations and Revenue Optimization.
Thomas has more than 15 years of industry and consulting experience across a broad range of strategic and operational issues.
He has advised multinational corporations and local companies across three continents, in more than 10 countries and in three languages. Throughout these engagements, he has built strong, enduring relationships with senior leaders of Fortune 500 companies as well as family business owners in a variety of cultural contexts.
Thomas holds deep expertise in industrial sectors, such as automotive, manufacturing and assembly, mining and metals, construction/building products and utilities in the US, Latin America and Europe.
He has driven large-scale transformation programs and turnarounds for medium sized companies and large multinational enterprises, resulting in significant performance step-changes. He has also implemented numerous highly successful strategy, business plan and operations projects arounds topics such as procurement and supply chain optimization.
Prior to joining Bain in 2010, Thomas worked for another global consulting firm for seven years as an Associate Partner in several offices, including Munich and Mexico City.
Thomas holds a Doctorate in Law and an MSc in Business Administration from the University of Innsbruck in Austria.
