Alessandro Odello

Alessandro Odello is a member of Bain's Financial Services practice.

He has more than 20 years of consulting experience.

In recent years, Alessandro has advised national and international banks on business modelling, business planning, organization analysis, design and development, change management and credit and risk matters. He specializes in credit and risk management and commercial banking topics, particularly corporate strategy and governance, distribution networks, product development and segmentation.

Alessandro has authored a number of articles covering the banking industry, which have been published in various Italian business magazines. He is also a frequent speaker at public workshops, including those held by the Italian Banking Association.

Prior to joining Bain in 2007, Alessandro led another consulting firm’s Italian commercial banking domain. In addition, he founded IVN & Company, a boutique consulting firm with an emphasis on financial services.

Alessandro holds an honors degree in finance from Parma University. He was also a professor assistant within the university’s financials market department.
