Christophe De Vusser

Christophe is the Worldwide Managing Partner, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Bain & Company, overseeing the firm’s global strategy and operations while maintaining Bain’s culture. He is based in New York.

Prior to serving as Bain’s Worldwide Managing Partner, Christophe led Bain’s EMEA Private Equity practice, served as managing partner of Bain’s Brussels office, and was a member of Bain’s Board of Directors.

Christophe joined Bain in 2000 and, over his 20+ year career at the firm, has advised global CEOs while being recognized as one of the foremost experts in deal advisory and value creation work for portfolio companies owned by financial investors. He has supported a wide range of due diligence efforts across both private equity and corporate mergers and acquisitions, in addition to fund strategy for a variety of investors. Christophe began his career in consumer products at Procter & Gamble and has been active in Bain’s Consumer Products practice, where he has deep expertise in growth and marketing strategy, as well as transformation and turnaround programs.

Christophe is a member of the Business Roundtable and the World Economic Forum, including the International Business Council and the Forum’s Alliance of CEO Climate Leaders. He is also a member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.

He was the 2005 recipient of Bain & Company’s Bright-Dix Award, which recognizes excellence in professional development. He sits on the Board of Directors of Kick Cancer, a non-profit organization that fights pediatric cancer.

Christophe holds master’s degrees in civil engineering and multilingual business communication from the University of Ghent.
