Eileen Shy is a member of our Consumer Products practice.
Her deep experience across the consumer goods sphere includes a focus on growth strategy and large-scale change programs. She has led engagements in brand growth and strategy, customer-led growth, business unit strategy, category strategy, innovation, diligence and corporate mergers, operating model and organizational redesign, procurement and performance improvement.
She has extensive cross-category experience, including packaged food, snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, beauty, personal care and beyond.
Eileen has worked in four of our firm's offices on three continents.
Internally, Eileen led Bain’s 2018 acquisition of FRWD, a digital marketing agency based in Minneapolis, and currently sits on the FRWD Board of Advisors.
She has written multiple whitepapers, including “Lessons from US Brand Winners”; “The Great Ecommerce Illusion in Consumer Products” and “The Future of Marketing in Consumer Products.” She also serves as a member of the New York Partner Promotion Committee and holds various other firm leadership roles.
Eileen earned her MBA from Harvard Business School and her B.A. from Brown University, from which she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with honors.
