Eileen Shy is a partner in Bain & Company’s New York office. Eileen has more than 15 years of experience in management consulting and is a member of Bain’s Global Consumer Products and Retail practices.
Eileen is an expert in the consumer goods and retail sectors, leading long-term engagements with Fortune 500 corporate clients. Eileen’s deep experience in the consumer goods and retail sectors includes a particular focus on growth strategy and large-scale change programs. She has led engagements in brand growth and strategy, customer-led growth, business unit strategy, category strategy, innovation, diligence and corporate mergers, operating model and organizational redesign, procurement and performance improvement.
During her tenure at Bain, Eileen has also worked within Bain's Social & Public Sector practice, specializing in education and school leadership. She also founded the “Bain Cares” initiative in Bain’s New York office to apply the firm’s passion for results to community service and pro bono work.
Eileen earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a BA in public policy and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
