Stefano Bridelli is a partner based in Bain & Company's São Paulo office. An expert in the firm's Financial Services practice, he has more than 30 years of management consulting experience. He is the chairman of Bain's South America Nominating Committee and has also served as a member of the firm's Global Board of Directors.
Since joining Bain in 1983, Stefano has worked with the top management of numerous large national and multinational groups in across numerous industries, including agribusiness, consumer goods, CRM, retail, banking, insurance, airlines, automotive, construction, luxury goods, oil & gas, steel, publishing, pulp & paper, textiles, telecommunications, technology and private equity.
He has led engagements addressing corporate and business unit strategy, organizational redesign, performance improvement and M&A.
Stefano worked in Bain's London office between 1983 and 1990, with client assignments throughout Europe and North America. In 1990, he joined the Bain startup office in Milan, where he primarily focused on performance improvement strategy for both domestic and multinational clients.
In 1994, he transferred to the Bain office in Rome and, at the beginning of 1998, he moved to São Paulo to help found the firm's office there, soon followed by the opening of the Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro and Santiago offices.
Prior to joining Bain, he worked at AIESEC (International Students Association) in Brussels as International Secretary General, as well as in Luxembourg as Financial Analyst for the European Parliament. He also worked as a corporate analyst for Olivetti in Italy.
Stefano holds an MBA with distinction and special awards in both marketing and accounting from Columbia University's Graduate Business School. He also graduated with a degree in economics, summa cum laude, from the Universitá di Parma.
Stefano has been the Chairman of the Nominations Committee of the Amcham Board of Directors in São Paulo and is currently a member of the São Paulo WPO chapter. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of OSESP and Cultura Artística.
Stefano is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Italian.
