He has over 25 years of experience advising manufacturing companies on strategic and operational issues.
Mike is a deep expert in end-to-end supply chain, working with many of the world's largest companies to help them identify market-back strategies for competitive advantage. His relevant case experience includes supply chain reinvention, manufacturing footprint and make/buy, vertical integration, logistics strategy and complexity management.
Mike advises clients across a range of industries, including food, beverage, personal care, industrial, automotive and retail. He has also applied his expertise globally, working across North America, South America, Europe and Asia.
Prior to joining Bain, Mike worked for another management consulting firm. He began his career as a manufacturing engineer for Caterpillar, leading plant automation programs and driving design-for-manufacturability initiatives.
He earned an MBA from Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
