Franz Bedacht is the head of our South America Communications and Media and Technology and Cloud Services practices. He is also a core member of our Advanced Analytics and Consumer Products practices.
Since joining us in 2003, Franz has led engagements addressing churn and retention, loyalty and rewards, change management, enterprise technology, and systems modernization. His recent work has spanned the internet and broadband access, wireless network operators, and integrated and cross-platform operations spheres.
He has also led various diligence, portfolio value creation, and sector screening efforts for private equity firms.
Prior to joining us, Franz spent seven years with another top consulting firm across both Germany and Brazil. He also spent three years as an assistant professor in the Institute for Empirical Business Research at Ludwig-Maximilians-University (Germany).
He holds doctoral, master's and bachelor's degrees in business administration from Ludwig-Maximilians-University.
Franz is fluent in Portuguese, English and German.
