James Taggart

James Taggart leads our Operating Model solution for EMEA and has 15 years of consulting experience. He also leads our Retail Operating Model team in EMEA.

His work with clients focuses primarily on operating model transformation. He is an expert on our proprietary AI-driven Org Navigator diagnostic and other organization solutions. He also supports clients on broader transformation and performance improvement efforts, including field force optimization.

He has worked with clients in the UK, USA, Europe, India, and Australia across a broad range of industries, with a focus on consumer facing industries, across travel and leisure, retail and utilities.

James leads various talent initiatives for Bain London, including our Manager professional development programme, Senior Manager Promotion Committee and is a winner of our Maestro Award for coaching.

He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School where he graduated as a Baker Scholar, and an M.A. in social and political science from the University of Cambridge.
