Rodrigo Mayo is a partner in Bain & Company's Mexico City office. He is an expert in Bain's Retail and Strategy practices. He is also actively engaged with the firm's Developing Market 100 (Founder's Mentality) initiative.
He has more than 10 years of management consulting experience throughout the United States and Latin America, having worked in Bain's Dallas and Mexico City offices.
Rodrigo works with clients across a broad range of industries, including retail, consumer products, airlines and industrial goods. He holds deep expertise in business, customer and go-to-market strategy, private equity due diligence, value proposition redesign and organizational design. He is an advisor to many of his clients on the topics of e-commerce and omnichannel retail, having spent a year as a cofounder of www.linio.com.mx.
In addition to his client work, Rodrigo leads Bain Mexico City's Manager Program. Outside of Bain, he formerly served as a summer intern with Endeavor in South Africa, and currently supports several Endeavor Entrepreneurs as a Mentor and Board Member.
He earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated with second year honors. He holds an Accounting and Finance degree from ITESM in Monterrey, Mexico, where he graduated with honors.
