About Jeff

Jeff Katzin is a partner based in Bain & Company’s New York office. He is an expert in the firm’s Telecommunications, Media & Technology (TMT), Customer Strategy & Marketing and Performance Improvement practices.

In his role at Bain, Jeff has advised both public companies and private equity investors on such topics as customer experience, marketing excellence and transformation. He is also deeply versed in contact center optimization, performance improvement, zero-based budgeting (ZBB) and zero-based redesign (ZBR).

Additionally, Jeff serves on the board of the Broome Street Academy Charter High School.

Prior to joining Bain in 2011, he worked as an investment consultant for another top firm, advising leading non-profits, colleges and universities on investment strategy.

He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Tufts University.
