Since joining Bain in 2001, Ruy has worked with the top management of numerous large national and multinational groups across a range of industries, including consumer goods, retail and financial services, focusing on retailers, private equity, pulp and paper, steel and airlines.
He has led a number of engagements addressing corporate strategy, adjacency growth strategy, portfolio strategy, new business development, corporate restructuring, M&A, new product launch, alliance and JV strategy, salesforce effectiveness and customer loyalty programs.
Prior to joining Bain, he co-founded a business-to-business Internet company in Latin America and also served as a commercial manager for Unilever.
Ruy graduated with a degree in business administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas.
He is fluent in both Portuguese and English.
