WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

As the Specialist, Practice Marketing, you’ll join an international, high-energy marketing team where collaboration and innovation thrive. This is a hands-on role at the forefront of driving Bain’s brand and reputation.

You’ll support the Marketing Director in coordinating and executing strategic campaigns, collaborating with global teams across editorial, brand, SEO, paid media, email, PR, and events to deliver high-impact results. Working closely with your supervisor, you’ll contribute to both planning and execution, helping bring bold ideas to life.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Execute highly impactful, cross-channel marketing campaigns in close collaboration with other marketing teams

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist with the execution of campaigns across multiple channels, leveraging a strategic mix of assets, e.g., email, paid media, social media, video, and in-person activations; have working knowledge of options available, when to use, and ways to optimize.
  • Deploy marketing programs targeting CXO audiences within and across sectors, liaising with Industry and Account Marketing counterparts on messaging, channels, and multiplying impact.
  • Coordinate, update, and maintain foundational marketing assets such as webpages, partner profiles, and related materials, prioritizing relevant and timely updates.
  • Coordinate Client mailing campaigns, including selecting content and recommending framing for key audiences.
  • Responsible for keeping content and campaign information updated and available to cross-functional teams to enable visibility and collaboration.
  • Measure the results of campaigns and major deliverables through both analytics and direct feedback; present actionable insights to refine strategies. 
  • Support event execution for select conferences and Bain-host client events; includes invites, follow-ups, etc. 
  • Create communications to promote marketing activities to key internal audiences.  

Execute marketing strategies that increase awareness and credibility for Bain and our core solutions, in support of commercial objectives

  • Develop an understanding of target audiences and key clients; find new and innovative ways to reach them, e.g., through events, targeted advertising, speaking opportunities, influencer collaborations.
  • Use data to develop performance insights; proactively monitor and analyze to ensure activities reach key client decision makers. Make recommendations for improvements.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends as well as marketing trends, in order to inform decision-making.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to inform the development and positioning of our expertise, as well as overall marketing approach.
  • Become a regular user of Bain’s CRM system, understanding the core functionality and the insight it provides into target audiences.

ABOUT YOU

  • Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, or related field

  • 3-4+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience, ideally in a global team environment and within professional services (e.g., consulting, law, audit), investment/asset management, or B2B tech/enterprise SaaS

  • Fluent English communication skills—both written and verbal

  • Experience developing and executing marketing programs and processes

  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate distinct projects and/or large-scale events, including budgeting and goal-setting

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Comfort working with remote managers and cross-functional, global teams

  • A proactive mindset—always looking for new ideas, approaches, and improvements

  • Client-centric focus and professionalism in representing Bain externally

  • Steady under pressure, with the ability to adapt quickly based on feedback from senior leaders

Preferred:

  • Account representative or client-facing marketing experience

  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com

  • Working knowledge of digital marketing basics, such as campaign tracking, analytics, and social media performance
