WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll be part of Bain’s Global Talent Strategy & Experience team, specifically within the Wellbeing & Resilience pillar. You will work closely with global, regional, and local Talent leaders, as well as senior stakeholders including Regional Managing Partners (RMPs), Office Heads, Talent Partners, and functional leaders. You will also collaborate across adjacent teams such as Talent Acquisition, Professional Development & Performance (PD&P), and Global Training to ensure wellbeing is embedded across the firm.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

As Director, Employee Wellbeing & Resilience, you will play a critical role in advancing Bain’s global wellbeing agenda—helping translate strategy into execution to enable individual and team performance at scale. You will shape practical tools, influence leadership behaviors, and drive adoption of wellbeing practices across a high-performance, global organization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Support the evolution and execution of Bain’s global wellbeing and resilience strategy in alignment with broader Talent Engagement priorities
• Have 1 direct report
• Develop and drive core wellbeing toolkits, including practical business levers and leadership behaviors that can be embedded into teams and training programs
• Translate external research and best practices into actionable, Bain-specific frameworks and tools
• Serve as the primary Americas point of contact for wellbeing enablement, partnering with offices and functions to embed wellbeing into day-to-day operations
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders globally and act as a trusted advisor on wellbeing topics
• Partner across Talent and functional teams to ensure consistency and integration of wellbeing initiatives
• Enable leader and team capability through practical guidance, programming, and resources
• Support adoption and effectiveness of wellbeing programs through scalable solutions and continuous improvement
• Contribute to team leadership by guiding junior team members and shaping team ways of working
• Balance strategic problem-solving with strong operational execution in a highly matrixed environment 

ABOUT YOU

Must-have:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 8–12+ years of professional experience, including experience within a management consultancy and deep understanding of the consulting case team environment
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing talent within Bain or a similar high-performance management consultancy environment 
• Proven ability to lead complex, ambiguous workstreams from problem definition through execution
• Strong experience influencing senior stakeholders across functions and geographies
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into practical, scalable implementation
• Exceptional stakeholder management, executive presence, and communication skills
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capability
• Commercial acumen with understanding of how business performance links to people and culture
• Ability to synthesize complex topics into actionable insights and frameworks
• High judgment and discretion when handling sensitive organizational topics
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

Nice-to-have:

• Experience advising senior executives on organizational, talent, or culture topics
• Background or strong interest in wellbeing, resilience, or performance sustainability
• Client-facing consulting experience
• Experience designing and facilitating executive-level workshops or leadership sessions 

WORK MODEL 

This role follows a hybrid model aligned with Global Talent Strategy & Experience policy, with approximately 1 day per week in the office. 

U.S. COMPENSATION INFORMATION

Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain’s best in class benefits package (details listed below).

Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range to be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:
• In California (Los Angeles) and Massachusetts (Boston), the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $157,000 - $188,000
• In Illinois (Chicago), the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $150,000 - $180,000
• In Georgia (Atlanta), the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $136,000 - $164,000
• Annual discretionary performance bonus
• This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation
• 4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date
