II joined Bain as an associate consultant intern in 2013. I was studying history and business at Emory and wanted to find a job where I could continue learning across a variety of topics. I was drawn to consulting at Bain because of the project-based work, generalist model, being able to diving deep into new industries and capabilities every few months and hoped over time I would get a sense of the work that excited me the most.
Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?
Absolutely! I spend most of my time working with our healthcare clients on a variety of strategy topics. I love that the work I do is in service of improving the patient experience, improving health outcomes, and/or driving towards more affordable care.
“Build Your Own Bain” means creating a thriving career on your own terms. How have you been able to “Build Your Own Bain?”
I've built my own Bain by increasingly focusing on the work that inspires me and brings me the most energy, which is working with our healthcare clients. Bain also affords unique flexibility options. I'm taking 2 months off later this year to fulfill a dream of traveling solo throughout Italy.
