Share your journey to Bain.

Before joining Bain, I worked as a brand manager at a global consumer goods company. I led both UK and international roles across personal care brands, gaining experience in launching new products and developing growth strategies for brand development.

How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?

Bain was the right fit because of the variety of industries the firm works across. Having only worked in consumer products previously, it has been incredible to explore sectors ranging from private equity to the sailing industry.

The people also made a big impression. Everyone I met during the interview process and later worked with on cases has been incredibly impressive, collaborative, and inspiring.

Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?

Absolutely. I’ve felt the impact from day one, whether helping clients tackle their toughest challenges or streamlining processes that would typically take much longer. Every case brings meaningful opportunities to drive real change.

“Build Your Own Bain” means creating a thriving career on your own terms. How have you been able to “Build Your Own Bain?”

At Bain, I’ve carved out unique opportunities through both case work and Extra 10s. This year, I drew on my marketing background to support The Accessibility Institute with their Kickstarter campaign for an all-terrain wheelchair. It was an incredible experience working with a team of Bainies to help navigate the complexities of fundraising.

One of my favourite cases was working with Athena Pathway, the British entry to the Women’s and Youth America’s Cup. It was the first ever Women’s America’s Cup, and collaborating with Hannah Mills and the team was an unforgettable experience.

It was also exciting to see Bain's AI capabilities in action. We helped create a digital twin of one of the most high-tech boats in the world.
