Share your journey to Bain.

I joined Bain as an Associate Consultant after graduating from Texas Christian University. While at TCU I studied Finance and Accounting and got involved in different campus organizations to help round out the full Horned Frog experience.

Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?

At Bain, impactful work is the only kind of work you do. Every day is full of challenging problems, creative thinking, and intentional collaboration. While it can be hard to see the impact in the day-to-day activities, when I step back and look at what gets accomplished over the course of a case, it’s truly impressive to see the results we help deliver with our clients.

Share some of your favorite work (personal or professional) you’ve done while at Bain.

One of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had at Bain has been leading the TCU recruiting team. Supporting fellow Horned Frogs as they pursue careers in consulting—and investing in others the way Bainies once invested in me—has been a true privilege and a responsibility I’m deeply grateful for.

What advice would you give a candidate who is interested in recruiting for consulting?

For anyone interested in recruiting for consulting, my biggest advice is to immerse yourself in the business world early and often. Developing strong business acumen and a broader perspective on the global economy will give you valuable context during case interviews. From there, make dedicated case prep a top priority. Casing is a skill you can learn and refine over time—so stay persistent, keep practicing, and you’ll reach the level of performance you’re aiming for.
