Daven Karp

Daven Karp is a member of our Private Equity practice, where he specializes in advising on large-cap private equity deals in the technology sector.

Focusing on technical due diligence and software portfolio company initiatives, Daven's work ensures clients make informed investment decisions. His expertise extends to post-acquisition value creation, operational transformation, and navigating complex mergers and carveouts.

Daven collaborates with private equity clients and C-suite executives at major technology companies to drive innovation and operational excellence. His work includes defining long-term vision, crafting innovation roadmaps, and executing large-scale digital transformations, such as cloud migrations and AI/ML integrations. Additionally, he supports portfolio companies with tech asset valuation and product strategy positioning for sales and market expansion.

Daven holds an MBA from INSEAD and a B.A. in Physics, Economics, and Spanish from Bowdoin College, where he was recognized as a Phi Beta Kappa Scholar and awarded the Edwin Herbert Hall Prize in Physics.

Outside of work, he is passionate about global affairs, languages, and international development, with a strong background in humanitarian initiatives in Ukraine. Daven is also a skilled linguist, fluent in multiple languages, and an avid enthusiast of technology and technology-driven innovation.
