Diverse Abilities at Bain (DAAB) is a global community for Bain professionals built around disability, neurodiversity, and how our minds and bodies work differently in ways that influence our lives and work. Our programming focuses on experience sharing and providing support to create pathways for success inside Bain.
A core piece of our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Bain has been investing in diversity, equity, and inclusion for more than 30 years. Beginning with our early affinity communities, we have expanded into a wide range of comprehensive programs to create a culture of inclusion where every Bainie can thrive.
Diverse Abilities at Bain provides members an added layer of tailored support and a space to form meaningful relationships, drive connectivity, and build community. While we take pride in the deep bonds created within Diverse Abilities at Bain, we also build connections with other affinity groups, and share about our experiences in ways that help all Bainies feel supported.

Providing an added layer of belonging and support
We provide mentorship and ensure every individual has the right network of support to thrive and succeed.
We promote experience sharing within the disabled community and with other affinity groups.
We create space to have fun and build community.
Building community through summits, celebrations, and events
We host a multi-week event to celebrate our broader community where members and advocates share their stories.
We have monthly get-togethers and, more casually, people often send a note out when they’re grabbing lunch.
We host dialogues on topics like ability and disability in the workplace and approaches to navigating your career.
Every office holds its own happy hours, dinners, experience share sessions, and more.
