Since joining Bain in 2007, Michelle has built broad expertise across the retail sphere, serving clients in such sectors as eCommerce & online marketplaces, fashion & footwear, beauty, wellness & consumer health, insurgent direct-to consumer brands, and food service. She also works closely with financial investors evaluating assets in these sectors and driving full potential value creation for similar assets in their portfolios.
Michelle specializes in strategy (brand, customer, channel, adjacencies), M&A diligence and post-acquisition value creation, and cost effectiveness.
She holds an MBA from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree from Brown University, from which she graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
