Managing partner of Bain & Company's Chicago office, responsible for the firm's strategy and operations in the region.
Steve advises clients across multiple industries including consumer products, retail, gaming and entertainment, telecommunications and industrial goods.
He holds deep expertise in corporate, business unit and product-level strategies and operational improvement. He has extensive experience in marketing strategy, focused on customer segmentation, marketing and promotional effectiveness, and customer loyalty programs. He also supports merger integration and transformation cost programs.
In addition to his client work, Steve is passionate about education and serves on multiple boards, including Junior Achievement of Chicago and the Northwestern-Kellogg School of Management Global Advisory Board. He is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
Prior to joining Bain, Steve spent six years in the United States Air Force serving as a Program Manager for the Global Positioning System (GPS) development.
He holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
