Emily Emmett is a member of our Energy & Natural Resources practice and leads our energy transition capability.

Emily has deep expertise in energy transition and previously served as the global leader of Bain’s operating model solution. She works with clients across oil & gas, utilities, and industrial sectors to evolve their strategy and operating model to capture new opportunities and thrive through disruption and uncertainty. She brings a pragmatic lens to translating strategy into results.

Emily has led a wide range of projects with an emphasis on growth strategy, operating model design and implementation, and capital deployment. In addition to more than a decade of experience working with senior corporate leaders, Emily also has extensive experience working with private equity investors on strategic due diligence and portfolio shaping. She has led the diligence of over 50 energy and industrial assets throughout her career.

Within Bain, Emily leads the firm’s people development and DEI initiatives for the ENR practice and for Bain’s Texas offices.

Emily graduated with high honors from Rice University and also holds an MBA from Columbia Business School. She enjoys interior design and gardening and serves on the board of Houston Botanic Garden. She and her husband have three children.
