Philip Dowling is Bain & Company’s Global Solution Lead for Brand, Marketing & Sales within the Customer practice. He is also a member of the leadership team for FRWD, Bain’s group of marketing specialists.

A longtime career advisor to chief marketing officers and growth leaders, Philip works with clients across consumer products, retail, financial services, automotive, and sports. His focus spans marketing strategy and transformation, marketing effectiveness and efficiency, marketing technology, brand strategy, and digital commerce. He helps organizations accelerate growth by integrating creativity with the power of technology.

Philip frequently writes about the evolving marketing landscape, with his work featured in publications such as Adweek, including the article A Tale of Two Cannes: AI Optimism Masks Ad Industry’s Existential Crisis, and on platforms including Accelerate with Google. He regularly speaks at corporate and industry events, including the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Beyond case work, he is actively involved in mentoring and is a member of the Bain Band.
