Alexander De Mol

Alexander De Mol is a leader in Bain’s global Private Equity practice. He has over 20 years of strategy consulting experience working with a broad range of financial investors, including private equity funds, alternative asset managers, pension funds, family offices, and sovereign wealth funds. He was previously based in the firm’s Brussels, Boston, New York, and Middle East offices prior to moving to London 10 years ago.

Alexander leads the Consumer Products and Retail sector in EMEA for financial investors, coordinating all our activities in that sector. He also leads EMEA efforts related to Firm Strategy & Operations, which focus on helping financial investors achieve their full potential.

As a result, Alexander has extensive experience in all aspects of private equity, including investment strategy development, commercial reviews/due diligence, post-acquisition support and value creation plans, and operational and organizational design and governance. Alexander has worked with several leading institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds and limited partners on their investment strategy, internal operations, and governance.
