I originally entered college interested in research, whether that be through academia or working in industry post-graduation. Throughout college, I worked in several research and industry roles and realized what I really enjoyed was working across industries and with diverse groups of people, and that led me to look for full-time roles that would let me do this. I also still wanted to be in a field that would allow me to be technically engaged and intellectually stimulated. Consulting, and especially Bain, ticked all these boxes and more.
How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?
To me, Bain had the perfect mix of phenomenal people, rich office culture, strong professional expertise, and meaningful work. I loved everyone I met during recruiting. Their passion for the job and for the firm was really exciting and I felt truly supported during the entire process. I also loved that Bain is a leader in so many different industries AND dedicated to producing meaningful work, both with clients and non-profits. Overall, I really felt like I could grow and excel at Bain in all aspects!
Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?
Yes, absolutely! I have personally been really excited about the opportunities for impact at Bain, especially because these opportunities are meaningful in both a professional and social manner. In my last case, the work we did really had tangibles results for the client and hearing them express their encouragement and gratitude was extremely rewarding. I've also seen incredible work being done for phenomenal non-profits and community organizations, especially in the local area. There have also been amazing ways to get involved with the Bain community and to really make an impact there!
