After earning my PhD in quantum physics from Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, I worked 10+ years in academic research and teaching in different EU institutions. This work involved algorithms, data, and modeling via quantum simulations. I saw an exciting opportunity to plant my feet firmly on unfamiliar ground in interdisciplinary artificial intelligence, which led me to spend 3+ years as a senior data scientist and managing AI consultant before joining Bain as a senior manager.
How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?

Share some of your favorite work (personal or professional) you’ve done while at Bain.
Bain stands at the forefront of the Private Equity market on a global scale. When I became a part of Bain, I followed the notion of "when in Rome, do as the Romans do" and took the chance to collaborate with the Private Equity Group (PEG) at Bain. This proved to be an exceptional opportunity, allowing me to delve into diverse industries and apply advanced analytics methods to facilitate critical decisions for our clients.
