Euan Murray

Euan Murray is a member of our Sustainability & Responsibility practice.

He focuses on helping companies drive corporate value through sustainability strategy, with expertise spanning decarbonization and net zero, materials use and circularity, and nature and biodiversity. As global lead of our Decarbonization Center of Excellence, Euan oversees Bain’s sustainability software and data partnerships and advises case teams across all major industries. His client work is concentrated in consumer products, retail, food systems, manufacturing, and natural resources.

Prior to joining Bain, Euan served as CEO of The Sustainability Consortium and Director of Footprinting at The Carbon Trust where he supported corporate, regulatory and NGO clients on sustainability strategy, climate policy, innovation, and supply chain and product footprinting.

Euan holds an MSc in Materials Science and Metallurgy from University of Cambridge, completed executive education at INSEAD, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce.
