Jelle Dhaen

Jelle Dhaen is a member of our Energy & Natural Resources, Sustainability and Strategy practices. He leads Bain Brussels’ Sustainability practice with a particular focus on the energy & food transition, and is a frequent author on how to accelerate value creation through sustainability.

He has nearly a decade of consulting experience, advising executives and management teams across a variety of industrial sectors including agriculture, chemicals, metals & mining etc. and geographies.

Jelle mainly focuses on helping clients transform their businesses, typically at the intersection of strategy (corporate, BU and M&A) and sustainability (ESG, decarbonisation and circularity).

Jelle has held numerous office responsibilities over the years, from industry hire recruiting, to social impact work, to consultant class captain and lead organizer for our sustainability curricula.

He holds a Master’s in Business and Economics, summa cum laude, from University of Antwerp and Aalto University of Economics.

In his personal time, Jelle enjoys reading, travelling, and above all, spending time with his family & friends.
