Theen Yew Wong

Theen Yew Wong is a member of our Private Equity and Wealth Management practices, with a particular focus on Malaysian clients.

He has worked with multiple private equity funds on commercial and operational due diligences, as well as post-acquisition value creation. He also advises key Malaysian institutions—including sovereign wealth funds and diversified conglomerates—on corporate strategy and operating model design.

Beyond client work, Theen Yew founded our Southeast Asia Wellness initiative and is a certified Mental Health First Aider (MHFA). He leads the Kuala Lumpur office’s Social Impact efforts, focusing on community engagement and pro bono initiatives across Malaysia. Prior to joining us, he was a consultant at a human capital advisory firm and served as a Teach For Malaysia Fellow.

He holds a degree in mathematics from the University of Oxford. He lives in Kuala Lumpur with his wife and their young daughter.
