We were very pleased to participate in the 16th Annual Meeting of the New Champions (AMNC) 2025, in Tianjin, China, from June 24-26. The event gathered leaders from government, business, academia, international organizations, media, and civil society to explore how entrepreneurship and innovative technologies can unlock more dynamic and resilient economies. AMNC also focused on emerging markets and their role in driving global economic growth.
The event received significant media coverage, highlighted by our flagship feature: a Bloomberg-moderated roundtable discussion on how the world’s fastest-growing economies are preparing for disruption, featuring Bain partner Satish Shankar. Satish also appeared on CNBC to discuss Asia’s resilience amid macroeconomic uncertainty, and on CNA to explore the implications of AI on energy demand. Jason Ding, managing partner of Bain Greater China, shared insights with China Daily on China’s economic outlook and innovation-led growth. Richard Fleming, Bain’s APAC AI, Insights & Solutions (AIS) leader, spoke with CGTN Global Business about how AI is powering new forms of data analysis. Bain also co-hosted a roundtable with Caixin Media focused on unlocking new engines of growth through technology and innovation.
