Emilia is an expert in, the Corporate Support practice at Bain & Company. In her role, she is responsible for the research, development, and commercialization of new products and digital tools related to support functions, shared services, capability sourcing and business process redesign/automation, and she leads CFO outreach efforts.

In her client-facing work, Emilia spends most of her time primarily focused on support functions and shared services optimization (including opportunity identification, transformation management, and digitization/ automation).

Emilia is also a leader of Bain’s Benchmarking capability. She stood up Bain’s global Benchmarking Center several years ago and is currently part of the data governance committee and directly leads the Support Functions Benchmarking team.

In addition to her work in Corporate Support, Emilia has extensive experience in commercial due diligence for the private equity industry and strategy work across multiple sectors.

Emilia is originally from Argentina, and has lived in Los Angeles, CA for the past 20+ years. Within the Los Angeles office, Emilia co-leads the local Latins@Bain chapter.

Emilia studied business administration at the Universidad de San Andrés (Buenos Aires), and earned her MBA graduating with honors from Columbia Business School (NYC) in 2000. She joined Bain & Company in 2001.
