Julie Coffman

Julie Coffman is a leader in the global Healthcare practice and the Healthcare Private Equity practice with over 30 years of experience advising healthcare providers, payers and services companies. She also formerly led Bain’s People and Organization practice in the Americas and has extensive experience in organizational effectiveness and design across all industries

Julie’s clients span the full range of providers, including regional/national health systems, academic medical centers, outpatient clinics and physician groups. She has also advised payers and healthcare services companies, including healthcare technology and patient experience players. Julie specializes in advising both corporate clients and investor-owned portfolio companies across strategy, partnerships / value based care, organization/board effectiveness and post-acquisition full potential.

Julie serves as Bain’s Chief Diversity Officer and has led Bain’s inclusion strategy and mobilization efforts globally across all talent communities. Julie also chairs Bain's Responsible Use of AI Council which supports Bain's commitments to using technology responsibly. Julie earned her BA from Wesleyan University in Mathematics/Economics with highest honors and her MBA at Stanford University, where she was recognized as an Arjay Miller scholar. Julie also earned her MA in Educational Administration while at Stanford. She currently serves on the board of EDGE Foundation (Zurich) and is a former board member of Press Ganey.
