Cameron Ramsay

Cameron is a leader in our Future Back Ventures team, a Bain alumni-focused early-stage VC fund.

Cameron began his Bain career with several years on the consulting path, progressing from AC to Consultant, before transitioning to a venture-building role, where he launched and operated several Bain-backed businesses. This included designing and scaling a digital marketplace connecting freelance consultants with corporate clients, as well as leading the development of a specialized talent platform.

Cameron has worked across multiple Bain offices globally, including Johannesburg, Los Angeles, and London.

He is a proud alumnus of the University of Cape Town, where he studied finance at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Outside of work, Cameron can typically be found enjoying the outdoors while running, cycling or playing golf.
