I first learned about management consulting during a Bain career presentation in my senior year of university. I was drawn to apply for the Associate Consultant (AC) role because of the rapidly growing Manila office, which had only opened a few years earlier, and the steep learning curve the position offered.
Throughout the application process, I enjoyed the challenge of preparing for case interviews and was impressed by the opportunity to connect with so many Bainies. They generously shared their experiences and supported me every step of the way.
Now, more than three years in, Bain has been an incredible place to start my career. It has given me the opportunity to learn about a wide range of industries and work alongside some of the brightest, most driven people I know.
What is the culture of the Manila office like? What is it about the Manila office that you like or find particularly special?
We're a young and growing office where it’s easy to get to know everyone. People are genuinely excited to shape our culture together. Bainies here are incredibly kind and supportive, always willing to help, and we truly enjoy celebrating our wins together, especially during our regular Friday happy hours.
How has Bain supported you in your career and helped you Be More?
Having lived and studied in Manila all my life, I’m especially grateful for the global exposure Bain has provided, ranging from regional casework to international training programs in places like Ireland and Tenerife. These experiences have allowed me to build lasting friendships and learn from incredible Bainies from around the world.
In my day-to-day role, I’ve worked on a wide range of diverse projects with exceptional clients and teams across the APAC region, making my career journey both dynamic and deeply fulfilling.
