Share your journey to Bain.

After completing my master’s in Finance at the London School of Economics, I wanted to pursue a career that would allow me to make a meaningful impact while continuing to learn at a fast pace. I started my professional journey at Bain in Doha working in the oil and gas sector, which gave me valuable exposure to large-scale, strategic projects. Over time, I realized my passion lay in creating social impact, which led me to shift my focus to public sector work in the UAE, particularly in early education and social development.

How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?

Two things stood out to me immediately. First, the people. I connected with Bainies on a personal level and found they were genuine, humble and deeply driven by impact. Second, the breadth and depth of the firm’s work, especially the meaningful cases in public sector transformation and social development, really inspired me. I could see myself learning, growing, and contributing in that environment from day one.

Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?

Absolutely. At Bain, I’ve had the opportunity to work on projects that directly shape the future of countries and communities in the GCC. Whether it’s helping governments develop sustainability agendas or advancing early education and social development strategies, the work feels purposeful and forward-looking. I’m particularly excited by opportunities that allow me to drive national strategies in these areas, especially as the region undergoes rapid transformation and embraces sustainability as a key pillar of growth.

“Build Your Own Bain” means creating a thriving career on your own terms. How have you been able to “Build Your Own Bain?”

“Building Your Own Bain” has been about aligning my professional work with my personal passions. I’ve been able to focus on cases that reflect what I care most about while also shaping our office culture. Leading several “Extra 10” initiatives in the Middle East office has allowed me to contribute to people transformation programs and build a more connected, engaging, and inclusive workplace. That balance between meaningful client work and an energizing office culture is what makes my Bain experience unique.

Share some of your favorite work (personal or professional) you’ve done while at Bain.

Some of my favorite work has been in sustainability thought leadership. I’ve partnered with the World Government Summit to develop perspectives on how organizations can lead on sustainability and co-created an AI-enabled tool to assess sustainability readiness. I’ve also helped develop corporate sustainability strategies in the region—work that combines innovation, purpose, and tangible impact, and that I find deeply fulfilling.
